Ingredients
- 01500 ml thick cream plus 300 ml milk (or 800 ml cream and no milk)
- 025 eggs
- 033 tbsp cocoa powder
- 042 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
- 051 tbsp gelatin
- 062 tbsp water (to bloom the gelatin)
Method
Add everything except the gelatin and its water to the Thermomix bowl: cream, milk, eggs, cocoa powder and whey protein powder.
Set 10 minutes / 80C / speed 4.
While that runs, sprinkle the gelatin over the 2 tbsp of water in a small bowl and leave it to bloom for a couple of minutes. It will go from powder to a firm, jelly-like puck.
With the machine still running, add the bloomed gelatin through the hole in the lid. The residual heat and the moving blades dissolve it into the mix.
When the 10 minutes are up, divide between 8 small glasses or ramekins.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before eating. It sets firmer overnight.
